For the past 5 years GROC has existed as a volunteer organization without ever charging for membership fees. We have grown in size as well as our responsibilities to manage and build new shared-use trails in the Genesee Region.

For the past 5 years GROC has existed as a volunteer organization without ever charging for membership fees. We have grown in size as well as our responsibilities to manage and build new shared-use trails in the Genesee Region.
Did you know that GROC:
- Manages Dryer Road Park and that it is solely maintained by volunteer work, not by the parks department
- Worked with Ontario County Parks to expand and manage its single track trails and is all done by Volunteer labor
- Is working with Monroe County Parks Department to bring online our first Monroe County Parks as shared-user trails with Tryon and West Bay starting next season
As we have grown we need to ask for monetary support so that we can carry proper insurance, pay for trail building materials, communication tools, and continue to provide the planning and project management that keeps the existing and future share-use trails in great riding condition.
