There's no better place to slip away to than the highest point in Ontario County, Gannett Hill Park, in the scenic Bristol Hills. At an elevation of 2,256 feet above sea level, you'll have expansive views to the East; view portions of Ontario County and the hills behind Seneca and Cayuga Lakes.
A panorama, changing with every season is the Northeast. From "Look Out" you'll view the Bristol Hills.

General Description:
The Trails:

I'm not bashing the site. This is my honest review from my experience. I'm sure as the efforts keep up, they could implement diamond trails there, but right now, there aren't really any.
FYI, I rode up the hardest trail fairly easily, which should tell you its feature set.
This is a great place to take a bunch of kids or family, and enjoy the other elements of the park in the same day. I would not recommend long travel otherwise.
This all said, I do appreciate the efforts by GROC to build more places to ride. This one is great for families, and hopefully that is a great way to get anyone into the sport!
Go to the lookout, a nice spot for a sandwich.

We did some of the blue loop which is not marked and a big loop that was marked in yellow with lots of helpful signs. Awesome!
Question - we were using the above maps and were having trouble finding some of the trails. Our guess is that because the map is labeled "proposed", there are many trails that are not yet cut (very understandable).
Is it possible to let the bikers know which trails are currently available for riding? Maybe a note could be added to the above site.
Thanks again for all the effort! Our biking group is very happy to be re-discovering OCP!

The only issue I had is the map on this site wasn't older than the map at the trail heads, and the map at the trail head wasn't up to date with what trails are out there. There are also a good amount of trails out there that weren't marked at all, which I assume are new because they were mostly ones that weren't on any maps. It made it a little confusing out there, but it was still a fun ride.
Thanks for the work!
