There are many women of all ages who want to mountain bike, but find themselves intimidated or otherwise put off and uncomfortable riding with their husband, boyfriend or partner. Because of this we started a group ride for women, and this will mark our third season. It has been a tremendous success in the first two seasons, with as many as 19 riders per session. We will be changing the format this year, away from instructional to a more informal, ride-for-fun experience. We will not be able to offer a learning platform for beginners this year, so we are gearing this to the woman with at least some riding experience.
