Dryer Mutili-Use Trail Rules

Town of Victor – Dryer Road Park
                                                          Multi-Use Trail System

   Responsibility Code and Participation Waiver

The Town of Victor is pleased to offer several “new” miles of multi-use trails in Dryer Road Park.  Our guiding principle for this trail system is to provide the community with sustainable trails, safe trails and trails that will potentially meet the needs of diverse user groups.  To continue this project we ask that you adhere to the following responsibility code:

1)      All users must stop at the trailhead kiosk and sign-in and check the latest trail conditions.

2)      Mountain bike riders should ride under control at all times.  Never ride beyond your capabilities and refer to the trail rating if you have questions as to the difficulty level.

3)      HELMETS must be worn by bike riders.

4)      Never ride alone.

5)      All users should yield as indicated by the signs.  BIKERS must yield to HIKERS on single track as well as the upper field trails.  SKIERS must yield to HIKERS on the upper field trails.

6)      Use only trails that are marked and open.  Observe all posted signs.

7)      Pets must remain on a leash at all times.  Please clean up after your pets.

8)      The use of unauthorized, motorized vehicles (includes snowmobiles, ATV’s, dirt bikes) in the park and on the trails is prohibited by Town Law 1-2005, Chapter 149.  Violators are subject to a $250 fine.

9)      Alcohol is prohibited in the park.

10)  The park is open from dawn to dusk.

Please retain the top portion of this form for your use, complete the bottom portion of this form and place it in the drop box located at the entrance to the trails (adjacent to the parking area).  This is your multi-use trail system – BE SAFE and ENJOY!
