Volunteers are the only way that parks and trails we all enjoy are maintained and expanded. GROC asks for your help as advocates, but even more important is being evolved in the creation and management of trails. Last Year GROC had ever 150 volunteers work on Dryer road Park. We know have opportunities to build more trails in Sherwood Park in Penfield, Ontario County Park and of course keep Dryer Road well maintained. We are always in need of volunteer support. Please register and help keep your parks and trails open to multi-use.
We ask you to help and get credit for your work as a:
Advocate
- Keep up to date on the projects you are interested in
- Join us at meetings involving your park lands and there usage
- Write to your representatives and let them know that inclusive policies are the right thing to do
- Please check the active calendar on this site for all activities and dates.
- ADOPT A TRAIL PROGRAM - (Here)This is a great way for you to help keep trails in great condition.
- Register so you can be informed of opportunities you may want to participate in
- (LOG TOOL REGISTERD USERS ONLY) Log Your Time so you and your efforts are recognized

GROC Members posted over 1000 volunteer hours through the volunteer form last year from our general membership. This is awesome people all user groups benefit from your hard work and efforts. Big, Big Up for you!!!!!!!
Here are some great scheduled up coming trail work opportunities from trimming, trail building, restoration, reclamation, cleaning and clearing. Some are GROC sponsored and others are through like minded users groups. Every little bit helps and always leave your surroundings better than when you arrived so get out there an volunteer at one of the opportunities to give back. Be safe and have fun.
