Tryon 590 Connector Trail erosion!

We want to thank everyone that has posted images, and locations of the trail issues at Tryon and Irondequoit Bay Park West. That information has been forwarded onto Monroe County Parks and the New York State DOT who are in charge of the heavy lifting repairs of any failed stormwater management structures. The erosion on the 590 trail at Tryon may have to be repaired by heavy equipment, which will have to be utilized by the county or state. Our scope of ability for repairing trails is limited to hand tools, volunteer manpower and requires approval from Monroe County Parks and/or New York State DOT.
We do not have a timeline of when the larger repairs will be completed. Once we do we will share that information with you.
Please be patient, we are working with the county to have these repairs done as soon as they are able.
